CPR Fish

Catch Photograph Release started many years ago and has had input from many
outstanding anglers.

The first catch photograph release event was held using a mobile film processing unit.

The following competitions, anglers were given disposable camera’s and record of
capture sheets, both of these methods were costly and time consuming.

With the invention of Digital Camera’s and Digital Video’s this has enabled catch
photograph release events to be accessible to any angler, anywhere.

Our main objective is to have minimal impact on our valuable fish resources and promote the most environmentally friendly method of proving fish capture.

CPR can replace 'Catch &  kill'& 'live weighin' competitions stopping the unnecessary
need to kill or keep fish in 'live-wells' for later display.

Catch Photograph Release would like to thank & acknowledge the many people within the fishing industry for their encouragement and support during the concepton of Catch Photograph Release.
